Donkey Felted Bolero
STYLE:Women's Knitwear
Donkey Felted Bolero
A bolero designed with added panels so there is room to layer underneath. We loved the look of the reverse side after knitting, where Donkey-kun seems to softly emerge into the surface, so we used it as the face of the garment.
— Inspired by Chitose Shukuju
The yarn once used for Chitose Shukuju, our distinctive fulled wool knit, was spun with a familiar clattering sound. Sadly, it can no longer be made. Still drawn to its hand-spun-like irregularity and richly nuanced color, we spun a new yarn in that spirit and used the natural knitted edges to make this rustic piece. The wool is light, warm, and will grow more characterful with age.
