Cotton Fleece 908 Ocean Sweat (Green)
Cotton Fleece 908 Ocean Sweat (Green)
A roomy Ocean Sweat based on a vintage wide set-in sleeve. A combination of rubber print and embroidery brings the free-spirited Flamingway to life, adding a small story to the surface.
Inspired by American vintage sweatshirts, we make this loopback jersey every year without fail. The knitting skips stitches so the backing yarn floats in soft loops. What matters most is the springy, substantial feel: it has a strong surface character yet remains light with air held inside. Using sun-grown Australian cotton, we took our time spinning the yarn and knitting the fabric. The raised texture stays fresh and comfortable wash after wash. A softly worn green gives the fabric a mellow, lived-in character.
