Futatabi6.5 Sorahikohime Kageironando Zyu
・14 oz
・Button fly
・Selvedge
・Straight cut
・Indigo “Kageironando” with an indigo-grey fade
・Fabric woven on a vintage shuttle loom
・45R's signature cut
Sorahikohime is shaped in a straight silhouette with room through the thighs, designed to suit men and women of all ages.
After more than two decades devoted to indigo, the 34th shade in the series emerged as “Kageironando,” the Indigo of Shadows. This deep, enigmatic tone moves between indigo and black. With time and wear, a nuanced gradient of blue and grey gradually surfaces, revealing quiet depth within the cloth.
Inspired by vintage five-pocket denim, the fabric was developed through repeated trial and refinement. Woven with thick 6.5-count yarn, it forms a rugged textile with pronounced unevenness and distinctive fades. With the desire to revisit that spirit once more, the fabric was named Futatabi 6.5—“6.5 again.”
Meticulously woven from Zimbabwe cotton, the denim offers firmness, texture, and evolving color. It reflects the careful Japanese craftsmanship that defines 45R, carrying both nostalgia and enduring presence.
