Inspired by American vintage sweatshirts, we make this loopback jersey every year without fail. The knitting skips stitches so the backing yarn floats in soft loops. What matters most is the springy, substantial feel: it has a strong surface character yet remains light with air held inside. Using sun-grown Australian cotton, we took our time spinning the yarn and knitting the fabric. The raised texture stays fresh and comfortable wash after wash.
