Crafted from 45R’s original 14 oz denim, "Futatabi 6.5," woven with thick yarns for a rugged texture, each pair undergoes a single wash to achieve a softened, lived-in feel. For a more tailored expression, a pressed center crease can be added, reminiscent of classic slacks.
At the back waist, a leather patch features a crossover motif of lowercase “r” and uppercase “R.” The signature R embroidery on the back pocket is stitched with plant-dyed thread inspired by Edo Asagi, a traditional Japanese blue. As the jeans age, both the denim and the embroidery develop a natural patina, deepening in character alongside the wearer.
