A knit-sewn piece made at our own SDL factory in Fukushima, where knitted fabric is carefully cut and sewn. The Fair Isle jacquard is built stitch by stitch, with traditional motifs treated almost like a Cowichan knit.

Yakko-i means “soft” in the Fukushima dialect. This Smooth knit brings out the natural comfort of cotton. Supima cotton is knitted from both sides so both faces are the right side, with a soft, springy hand that settles gently against the skin.
