In September 2000, we opened our first store in New York, where a T-shirt made from what we called “Super Gauze” caught on with people there and quickly became a topic of conversation. That fabric is the root of our Super Gauze today. A quarter century since Super Gauze was born, we used smooth, elegant, lustrous Supima cotton — often called “cotton cashmere” — breathable and cool yet warm from the air held within, and gave it hand-dyed-like tonal variation for this year's look.
