The sheep of the Shetland Islands live tough, resilient lives in a harsh natural environment. Their wool is both rugged and delicate, strong and warm. To bring out even more of its character, this year we washed and fulled the knit, allowing the fibers to mingle just enough to give the surface greater depth. Less prickly against the skin and softly full for years to come, this is authentic Shetland wool that grows richer with age.
