2026 Spring

Through a special encounter, French photographer Olivier Kervern and 45R crossed paths—and from that moment, 45R’s seasonal visuals began.

Olivier shoots on film using old Japanese cameras. His analogue approach resonates with 45R’s own analogue craftsmanship, resulting in photographs that feel like still frames lifted from a quiet, beautiful film.

This season’s shoot took place in Matsumoto, Nagano.

Starting from a lodge that has stood since the 1960s, he captured the surrounding scenes just as they are—an atmosphere where mountain climbers and young people have mingled for decades, unchanged in spirit.

From a serendipitous connection came a new and slightly unexpected expression of 45R’s world.
