Inspired by a Vintage Indian Quilted Blanket:
The inspiration for this collection began with a beautifully aged quilted blanket discovered in India.
India is home to a rich heritage of quilting techniques, each deeply rooted in local traditions. Beyond their visual appeal, quilt patterns carry cultural significance, telling stories passed down through generations. Mothers have carefully taught their daughters the art of embroidery, preserving these skills as an integral part of their heritage.
A Cross-Cultural Fusion of Indian and Japanese Craftsmanship:

The outer fabric is made from hand-spun, hand-woven khadi, dyed with Indian indigo.
Each stitch is meticulously embroidered by hand, using nothing but needle and thread to create bold, intricate patterns. Not only does this enhance the visual beauty of the fabric, but it also strengthens its structure, ensuring both elegance and durability.
