Futatabi6.5 Sorahikohime R45 Distressed (Up to 36 in)
Futatabi6.5 Sorahikohime R45 Distressed
・14 oz
・Button fly
・Selvedge
・Straight cut
・Fabric woven on a vintage shuttle loom
・45R's signature cut
Sorahikohime is designed as a straight silhouette with room through the thighs, suited for men and women of all ages.
After more than two decades devoted to indigo, the 34th shade in the series emerged as “Kageironando,” the Indigo of Shadows. This deep, enigmatic tone moves between indigo and black. With wear and washing, a nuanced gradient of blue and grey gradually appears, revealing quiet dimension over time.
Inspired by vintage denim, we developed a five-pocket fabric woven with thick 6.5-count yarn. The result is a rugged cloth with pronounced unevenness and distinctive fades. With the desire to revisit that spirit once more, the fabric was named Futatabi 6.5—“6.5 again.”
Woven from Zimbabwe cotton, the denim offers firmness, texture, and evolving color. It is a fabric shaped by time, reflecting the careful Japanese craftsmanship that defines 45R.
