Our inspiration was the vintage European linen we’ve always admired. Strong, rugged, durable—linen that works hard and never fades, even after 100 years.

We twisted three strands of linen yarn together, wove it with a dense weave, and dyed it with subtle uneven tones to achieve a worn-in, rich character. This process reflects the Japanese craftsmanship and dedication to quality we take pride in at 45R.

At first, the fabric may feel a bit stiff, but it quickly softens and becomes wonderfully comfortable. This linen material is wind-resistant, provides warmth, and can be worn throughout the year. It’s a testament to the enduring beauty and practicality of Japanese design.
