The sheep of the Shetland Islands, raised in harsh conditions, possess coarse outer wool and an incredibly soft and fine undercoat. Shetland wool is known for its durability and long-lasting nature. Even when pilling occurs, the pills are easy to remove, and the fabric softens over time, becoming more comfortable with each wear. It truly embodies the essence of "the real deal" in Shetland wool.

To enhance the Shetland feel, we applied a felting process, giving the fabric a soft stretch and such a lightness that it feels almost weightless when worn. At 45R, this unique texture reflects our dedication to Japanese craftsmanship and quality.
