The season has arrived for us to create our signature winter garments—knitted tweed. The irregular, coarse yarn typical of Shetland wool is challenging to work with, often breaking and needing to be rejoined. Through careful craftsmanship, we’ve woven a tweed-like herringbone pattern. Our focus is on creating a textured, bumpy volume with lightness, resulting in a lightweight yet warm tweed. This piece truly showcases the unique Japanese craftsmanship that 45R is known for.
