Tamtam Cashmere Sweater

This piece features a feminine A-line silhouette with a lovely flared shape. To add a special touch, we’ve adorned the hem with irregular antique beads for a unique and charming finish.

Inspired by the knitwear crafted by the people living in the Himachal region of northern India, we used rustic cashmere materials to hand-knit this sweater in a primitive style, reminiscent of Shetland knits.

Tamtam yarn, meaning “novelty yarn,” is used to create a fun and slightly irregular texture. By showcasing the reverse side of the jersey knit, we’ve given the fabric an unexpected and playful appearance, embodying the spirit of Japanese craftsmanship and the creativity 45R is known for.
