Indigo Flannel Patchwork Big Shirt Dress

This is a simple pullover shirt dress with a generous, comfortable width.

The fabric is a flannel woven slowly on old Indian machines, preserving traditional craftsmanship over time. Its loosely woven texture feels light and soft, offering a uniquely gentle comfort that modern techniques in Japan cannot replicate. We consider this flannel a precious material that 45R aims to keep honoring and passing down as part of Japanese textile heritage.

Every detail is thoughtfully arranged to look charming from every angle. Instead of conventional seam piecing, we used overlapping stitches to create a seamless look. The indigo patchwork is delicately finished both inside and out, with parts and facings made from Khadi dungaree fabric for an intricate, handmade touch.
