Shetland Knit Tweed Jacket

This jacket features playful color blocking with different knitting patterns on the front and back, along with four charming pockets, each with a cheeky tab. It’s a comfortable piece that still manages to look polished and put-together.

The season has arrived for us to create our signature winter garments—knitted tweed. The uneven, coarse yarn typical of Shetland wool is challenging to work with, often breaking and needing to be rejoined. Through our dedication, we’ve crafted a tweed-like herringbone pattern. Our focus is on achieving a textured, bumpy volume with lightness, resulting in a tweed that is both lightweight and warm. This jacket reflects the high level of Japanese craftsmanship that 45R is known for.
