The fabric is Indian Khadi, lovingly spun and woven in the homes of rural villages in India. Despite occasional slubs or tiny flecks of cotton, its beauty shines through. The fabric is sheer and airy, yet rich with texture—a character impossible to replicate with modern machinery and one that we deeply cherish.

The fine hand-spun yarns can sometimes snap, leaving small knots where they’ve been tied back together. These charming imperfections, including the occasional rounded slubs, tell the story of its handmade origins. While not perfectly uniform, the fabric has been carefully mended to ensure a beautiful finish, reflecting the thoughtful craftsmanship of 45R and the Japanese dedication to detail.
