Inspired by American vintage, we have continued to create our fleece fabric year after year without fail. Using a three-stitch skip, the back yarn floats softly as it is knitted in. What we pursue is a springy, supple texture. It has a firm character, yet its lightness—like air woven in—is what makes it so appealing. 

Dyed in its cotton-top state, the fibers are then carefully spun into yarn and knitted over time. The result is a heathered grey with depth and subtle variation, a natural shade that pairs easily with anything. This is a fleece you’ll want to wear every day, just like a favorite T-shirt—an enduring expression of 45R’s Japanese craftsmanship.
