In Hayama, the arrival of spring is signaled by the deep green sprouts of wakame seaweed. When we see it sun-drying along the shore, we know spring is just around the corner.

This year’s wakame has grown beautifully. The scarf is cut on the bias, allowing it to drape naturally and wrap comfortably around the neck. Sewing on the bias is no easy feat, but through repeated trials, we finally found a factory capable of achieving the delicate finish we envisioned. This is a creation that could only come from our dedication to thoughtful craftsmanship.
