Indigo Lapis 908 Ocean Petit-collar Pullover Shirt

The Ocean Shirt is a pullover with a short, wide silhouette reminiscent of an aloha shirt. It is adorned with buttons made from hollowed-out coconut shells.

Inspired by the traditional French toile de Jouy, we elegantly illustrated blooming flowers in a free and expansive design. The indigo-dyed fabric, created through a discharge-dyeing process, showcases a range of blues—from deep lapis lazuli to soft, pale hues—imbuing the material with remarkable depth and dimension.

The indigo used for this shirt is 45R’s original "Nando" color, developed from our very first recipe. This slightly muted shade of indigo beautifully highlights the intricate patterns created by the discharge-dyeing technique, making it a true representation of Japanese craftsmanship and artistic tradition.
