Indigo Square Knit Cardigan

The square cardigan has been resized for a unisex fit, making it a piece that can be enjoyed by anyone. With every wear, its texture deepens and its character grows.

Made from charmingly textured Zimbabwean cotton, this knit combines two shades of indigo yarn, twisted together to create a color with rich depth. From the yarn itself, we went through multiple prototypes to perfect the balance of the stitches, resulting in a knit with the look and feel of denim—an expression of Japanese craftsmanship at the heart of 45R.

The combination of carved buttons and tiny beads is one of our signature favorites. Playfulness runs through the details, from the softly rolled cuffs to the rounded hem, giving the cardigan its quietly distinctive personality.
