Originally designed as military workwear, baker pants are known for their relaxed fit around the hips and generously sized, practical pockets. These shorts carry that same functionality with a casual silhouette. The waist tabs are finished with intentionally rough stitching to evoke a vintage feel. If any loose threads at the edges concern you, simply tie them off before trimming to prevent fraying.

Made from 8.1oz Montpe denim—lighter than our 45 Petit Denim but slightly heavier than Shirt Denim—this fabric strikes the perfect balance for early spring. Soft and lightweight, yet with the rich tonal depth of a heavy ounce fabric, it's a true standard in 45R’s denim lineup. It embodies the understated elegance of Japanese craftsmanship.
