We call this the Eastern Shirt—because while it draws inspiration from the shirts worn by cowboys on the American West Coast, it was crafted by us, Japanese artisans. With its curved shoulder yoke and playful flap pockets, this unisex piece adds a touch of charm to any wardrobe.

Made from 7.2-ounce Shirt-Denim, this fabric is about half the weight of our classic denim. It retains the dry, textured feel of traditional denim while offering breathability, softness, and an effortlessly light fit.

To enhance comfort, we pre-softened the fabric to create a gentle, worn-in touch while setting the stage for natural fading. Over time, the indigo will develop rich depth and character—an expression of the enduring beauty of Japanese craftsmanship that defines 45R.
