This knit hat began with a simple idea: “What if we made a hat that feels like a knit cap?”

After knitting the base fabric, we repeatedly washed and felted it to create a durable, structured hat. The raw edges are strong and sturdy, resulting in a reliable knit hat that reflects 45R’s commitment to Japanese craftsmanship and thoughtful design.
