The outer side features a floral pattern, while the inner side has polka dots, showcasing vibrant colors and a luxuriously smooth texture. This silk fabric, rich and full-bodied, resembles the well-grown kombu seaweed.

Kombu, a cornerstone of Japanese culinary culture, is harvested in the summer. It absorbs the sea's nutrients through its entire leaf, growing long, thick, and robust.

The fabric is cut on the bias, allowing it to drape beautifully and conform to the neck. Sewing bias-cut fabric with such precision is a challenging task, but after numerous trials, we finally found a factory skilled enough to meet our high standards.
